The athlete, who handed away at 41, had participated within the Olympics twice, in Beijing in 2008 and London in 2012. In a video shared on Instagram, his 42-year-old spouse mentioned, “We’re so proud to see this emblem characterize the Los Angeles Video games. I do know Kobe could be so proud to host the Video games on this nice metropolis.”
Kobe, who earned two gold medals with Staff USA basketball—alongside LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony, and others—was immensely proud to characterize his nation. Vanessa mirrored, “He thought of his two gold medals amongst his proudest skilled accomplishments… As a spectator, he particularly cherished supporting fellow athletes and witnessing the competitors on the world’s highest degree.”
