The Ministry of Protection held trials yesterday in southern Israel wherein Israeli startups and veteran protection firms demonstrated applied sciences and techniques for intercepting drones. The trials have been held within the wake of the lethal Hezbollah drone assault on an IDF base close to Binyamina.
The trials have been attended by Minister of Protection Yoav Gallant, Minister of Science and Expertise Gila Gamliel, Ministry of Protection director basic Maj. Gen. (res.) Amir Baram, head of the Israeli Directorate of Protection Analysis & Improvement (DDR&D) Brig. Gen. Dr. Danny Gold.
