Cebu Metropolis to firmly implement environmental ordinances, penalties

CEBU Metropolis, Philippines — Cebu Metropolis is taking agency steps to implement its environmental ordinances, aiming to make clear guidelines and cut back complaints from violators.

In a current program on Sugboanon Channel, CCENRO’s Authorized Officer, Lawyer Klive Eric Ravanes, and IEC Coordinator Carlos Seven Jr. revisited a number of key ordinances.

They started with CO 1361, often known as the Anti-Littering Ordinance, which noticed 1,706 violations within the first half of 2024.
