CEBU CITY, Philippines— All roads result in the much-awaited finals of the seventh Architects and Engineers Basketball Membership (AEBC) Company Cup, which can unfold tomorrow, Saturday, on the College of San Carlos (USC) North Campus gymnasium.
Avantrac and CBM Engineering will conflict within the championship match at 8:30 p.m., whereas the battle for third place will happen at 7:30 p.m. between Buildrite and Phelps Dodge.
It may be recalled that CBM Engineering defeated Phelps Dodge, 76-68, of their semifinals match on August 31 on the identical venue.
In the meantime, Avantrac thrashed Buildrite, 83-70, to safe their finals ticket.
Avantrac will depend on Dexy Suico’s scoring prowess. Suico proved to be the staff’s go-to man after scoring 20 factors of their win towards Buildrite within the semifinals. He was simply shy of a double-double, grabbing eight rebounds.
