‘There aren’t many accolades left for him to get’: Mark Cavendish knighted in King’s Birthday Honours record



Mark Cavendish, the best male sprinter of all time, has been knighted within the King’s Birthday Honours.

The 39-year-old, who’s in his final 12 months as knowledgeable bike owner, follows Bradley Wiggins, Chris Hoy and Jason Kenny in changing into a biking knight.
