‘Moments like this don’t come round too typically’ – Eddie Dunbar doubles up at Vuelta a España

There’s an expression that Eddie Dunbar has been repeating virtually like a mantra since his transfer from Ineos to Jayco-Alula initially of final season: “I must again myself extra.” It seems he was proper.

5 kilometres from the summit of Picón Blanco, on the finish of the hardest stage of the Vuelta a España, Dunbar attacked with goal from the crimson jersey group on gradients that often grazed 18%.
